GARY LEE STILTNER,  43 years of age of Maxie, Virginia passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at his residence.  Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of Donald B. Stiltner, Maxie, VA and the late Beulah Ruth Endicott Stiltner. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Christian Faith.  He was a former employee of Vansant Food City and was employed as a Diary Manager. 

Mr. Stiltner is survived by:

            (2) Sisters:       Barbara and husband Charlie Stump              Maxie, VA

                                    Donna and husband Gene Goff                     Rt. 1, Grundy,VA

 (1)   Brother:     Rickey and wife Stella Stiltner                       Maxie, VA.

Also, survived by 2- nephews: Rickey Lee Stiltner and Christopher Gene Goff , 2- Nieces: Brittany Horn and Kimberly Stump and special friends: David Baldwin and Eddie Daugherty.

He was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Michael Paul Stiltner, December 8, 1979, maternal grandparents: Roy Endicott and Sadie Justice and Paternal grandparents: Oliver and Martha Stiltner. and 1-Nephew: Charlie Stump, Jr.

Funeral Services for GARY LEE STILTNER will be conducted Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pim Griffey officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia. 

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday evening at 6 P.M. with services Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Charlie Stump, Gene Goff, Eddie Daugherty, Ronald Stump, David Ball, Fred Stacy and Robert Stump.
