CHARLES EDWARD “RED” QUINLEY, JR., 37 years of age of Statesville, NC formerly of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009, at his home.  Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of Charles Edward Quinley, Sr. Claremont, NC and the late Pauline Thornsbury  and was of the Baptist faith. He was a former employee in Shipping and Receiving in a Furniture Factory.

Mr. Quinley is survived by : 1-Daughter: Madelynn Quinley, Statesville, NC; 1-Son: Mitchell Quinley, Statesville, NC; 2-Sisters:            Rebecca and husband Mark Koback,  Claremont, NC, Patricia and husband Randy Kiser, Statesville, NC; 6-Brothers: Paul Quinley, Statesville, NC, Ronnie and wife Chandra Lester, Clintwood, VA, Troy and wife Anna Lester,    Clinchco, VA, Larry and wife Teddie Lester, Pounding Mill, VA, Randy Lester, Kermit, WV, Sherman and wife Nita Lester,          Hardy, KY; Paternal Grandmother: Matilda Quinley, Grundy, VA.  Also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1-Sister – Mary Angel.

Funeral services for CHARLES EDWARD QUINLEY, JR. will be conducted Sunday, July 12, 2009, at 1:00 P.M at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evg. Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in the George Lester Cemetery on Rock Lick near Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday evening at 6:00 p.m. with services at 7:00 P.M.
