ALLEN SCOTT “SCOTTY” WOLFORD, 73 years of age of Bluefield, WV, formerly of Buchanan County, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Bluefield Regional Medical Center, Bluefield, WV, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was a son of the late Henry and Helen Hall Wolford. He was a resident of Buchanan County for many years prior to moving to Bluefield, and was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and was a retired Business Man.

Mr. Wolford is survived by his wife Pauline Bailey Wolford, Bluefield, WV, 1-Daughter: Angela Wolford, Bluefield, WV, 7-Grandchildren: Anthony Baran, Jacksonville, NC, Michelle Baran, Chicago, IL, Jonothan and wife Brittany Wolford, Alaska, Ashley Wolford, Bluefield, WV, Bryan Wolford, Bluefield, WV, Megan Wolford, Bluefield, WV, Krystal and husband Matt Cundiff, Glenwood, WV, 2-Brothers: Bill Wolford, Bob Wolford

He was preceded in death by 1-Daughter: Beverly Wolford and 2-Sons: Henry and Allen Wolford.

Funeral Services for ALLEN SCOTT “SCOTTY” WOLFORD will be conducted Monday, October 10, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders: Danny Hurley, Arthur Short and Fred Bailey officiating with burial to follow in the Hall-Wolford Cemetery, Kershaw, VA.

Friends may call at the Little Zion Old Regular Baptist Church at Greenbrier, WV, Sunday afternoon at 4:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Steve Williams, Billy Bailey, Travis Lester, Jimmy Lockhart, Bryan Wolford and Matt Cundiff.
