AMY LYNN DEEL, 23 years of age of Haysi, VA, departed this life Wednesday, January 21, 2009 in Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson City, TN after a prolonged illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of Manis and Linda Kay Stiltner Deel, Haysi, VA.

Amy was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith and she was baptized January 2007 at the Church of God in Richlands, VA. She was a very kind and friendly person to all who knew her. She never saw a stranger and was grateful to those who helped her in times of need. She loved her father very much; she was definitely daddy’s little girl. Amy will be greatly missed by her family. She will always be in our hearts, will always be deeply loved, and she will never be forgotten by her parents, family and friends.

Ms. Deel is survived by her parents: Manis and Linda Kay Stiltner Deel of Haysi, VA, 1-Precious Daughter: Taneica Lynn Deel, Haysi, VA, 3-Precious Sons: Tyler Lee Deel, Haysi, VA, Manis Brian Deel, Oakwood, VA, Devin Eugene Deel, Oakwood, VA, 2-Brothers: Benjamin and wife Loretta Deel, Oakwood, VA, Jason and wife Janet Deel, Whitewood, VA, Maternal Grandfather: Clarence Stiltner, Grundy, VA, Special Aunt: Ruby Yates, Haysi, VA

She was preceded in death by Maternal Grandmother: Gladys Catherine Stiltner, Paternal Grandparents: Lewis and Naomi Deel, and 1-Nephew: Alex Deel.          

Funeral Services for AMY LYNN DEEL will be conducted Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church on Greenbrier near Haysi, VA with Elders: Roger Coleman, Danny Deel, Andy Deel, Mark Justice and Earl Hill officiating with burial to follow in the O’Quinn & Deel Cemetery on the Left Fork of Greenbrier, near Haysi, VA.

Friends may call at the Russell Prater Old Regular Baptist Church on Greenbrier, Friday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 P.M.
