ANNALEE FLETCHER VANDYKE, 72 years of age of the Dryfork section of Vansant, Virginia, passed away Friday, December 24, 2010 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon, Virginia. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Eunice Deel Fletcher.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, homemaker and attended the Primitive Baptist Church. 

Mrs. Vandyke is survived by her husband Virgle Vandyke of Vansant, Virginia. Also survived by: Daughters:        Lisa Vandyke, Murfreeesboro, TN, Shelia Vandyke, Abingdon, VA, Kim Vandyke Offield and husband Mike, Abingdon, VA, Leslie Vandyke Brown and husband Dewey, Snow Camp, NC; Sister: Karen Fletcher McClanahan and husband Greg, Grundy, VA; Brother: Chester Fletcher, Cody, Wyoming; 7-Grandchildren:  2d  Lt. Jason Vandyke of the USAF, Pensacola, FL, Jessica Vandyke, Jeremy Vandyke, Michael Vandyke, Keisha Solis and husband Carlos, Dana Scruggs, and Jessi Offield; 2-Great-Grandchildren:  Melisa Solis, and Savannah Brown;        2-Sisters-in-Law:  Olagay Fletcher and Patricia Fletcher.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 2-Brothers:  P. J. Fletcher and Donnie Fletcher              

Funeral services for ANNALEE FLETCHER VANDYKE, will be conducted Monday, December 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Elders Jeff Dotson, Shawn Dotson, Ezra Davis, Jr. and Willard Owens officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel after 6:00 P.M. Sunday with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active pallbearers will be Mike Offield, Dewey Brown, III,  Jason Vandyke, Michael Vandyke, Jeremy Vandyke, Carlos Solis, Leon Vandyke, and Larry McClanahan.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Clappse, Bill Ratliff, Greg McClanahan, Ken Fletcher, Harold Cline, Auburn Ratliff, and Don Hagy.
