BEATRICE ANDERSON STILTNER, 90 years of age of the Poplar Creek Section of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, January 24, 2011 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Dickenson County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret Aily Counts Anderson. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church for 69-years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Stiltner was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Edward Stiltner, February 3, 1994.

She is survived by 4-Daughters: Charlotte Duty, Grundy, VA, Mrs. Pat (Sharon) Justus, Grundy, VA, Mrs. Wallace (Linda) Pritchard, Grundy, VA, Miss Lora Hall, Grundy, VA, 1-Son: Larry and wife Faye Stiltner, Grundy, VA, 2-Sisters: Inis Spriggs, Bluff City, TN, Virginia and husband Alfred Dalinowski, Sterling Heights, MI, 1-Brother: Arthur Jr. and wife Ruth Anderson, Michigan

Also, survived by 9-Grandchildren, 13-Great-Grandchildren, and several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by 1-Sister: Goldie Fink and 2-Brothers: Clarence Hall and Alva Anderson.

Funeral Services for BEATRICE ANDERSON STILTNER will be conducted Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Elders: Roger Coleman, Jimmy Dale Sanders, Larry Puckett, Mark Justice, Ralph Mullins, Rick Mullins, Aven (Tottie) Viers and Kermit Wright officiating with burial to follow in the Stiltner Cemetery near the Bethlehem Church on Poplar Creek, near Grundy, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Hensley Stiltner, Pat Justus, Wallace Pritchard, Mack Fink, Arthur Anderson Jr. and Alfred Dalinowski.
