BERCHIE LESTER STILTNER, 82 years of age of Big Rock, VA, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Dorsey and Polly J. Lester. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the House of Prayer at Big Rock, VA. She was a devoted wife, loving daughter and sister and was a former Custodian for the Buchanan County School System.

Mrs. Stiltner was preceded in death by her husband: Schuler Alonzo Stiltner, June 9, 2007.

She is survived by 3-Sisters: Barbara Jean and husband Stuart Helton, Big Rock, VA, Mary Marie Matney, Bristol, TN, Ocie Lester, Big Rock, VA, 2-Brothers: William Donald and wife Virginia Lester, Big Rock, VA, Virgil Harve and wife Magalene Lester, Swords Creek, VA

Also, survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by 2-Sisters: Lola May Lester Stiltner and Bertha Thomas, and 2-Brothers: Perry Lester and Carson Lester.

Funeral Services for BERCHIE LESTER STILTNER will be conducted Sunday, February 7, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Raymond Lester, Gary Sutherland and Paul Dotson officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers will be James Lambert, Fred Stacy, David Anderson and Kirk Ratliff.
