BEVERLY JANET BOURNE, 41 years of age of Doran, VA, passed away Thursday, January 12, 2012 at the Tazewell Carillion Hospital, Tazewell, VA. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of Alice Daniels Rife, Doran, VA, and the late Buford Roscoe Rife, Sr. She was a resident of Buchanan County for many years and was a 1986 Graduate of Grundy High School. Beverly participated in Beauty Pageants and was a Cheerleader at Vansant School. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Bourne is survived by her husband, Arnold Bourne II, Doran, VA, 1-Daughter: Stephanie Bandy and husband Bradley Cochran, Doran, VA, 1-Son: Cody Lee Bandy and girlfriend Jessica Wilburn, Doran, VA, 1-Step-Son: Logan Bourne, Northern VA, 3-Grandchildren: Autumn Marie Cochran, Tazewell, VA, Graci Lynn Cochran, Tazewell, VA, Jayden Gabriel Bandy, Doran, VA, 6-Brothers: Roy Lee and wife Cindy Rife, Vansant, VA, James Estil Rife Sr., Raven, VA, Andrew Thomas and wife Carol Rife, Vansant, VA, Ricky Ray and wife Lisa Rife, Haysi, VA, Edgar Alan and wife Dorothy Rife, Doran, VA, Buford Roscoe Jr. and wife Chaddi Rife, Danville, VA, Step-Mother: Linda Rife, Danville, VA

Also, survived by several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts and Uncles.

Funeral Services for BEVERLY JANET BOURNE will be conducted Thursday, January 19, 2012  at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marcus Jewell, Rev. Barry Absher and Evg. Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in the Mullins Cemetery on Compton Mountain, near Whitewood, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Cody Bandy, Christopher Rife, Jonathan Rife, James Rife, Jr., Paul Endicott, Brad Cochran, Justin Wright, Tyler Johnson and Shawn Short.
