BEVERLY LYNN STACY SMITH, 43 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 at the Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Grundy, VA, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of Phyllis Baker Stacy, Hurley, VA, and the late Carl Stacy. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband: Billy Junior Smith, Grundy, VA, 2-Daughters: Courtney Noel Smith of the Home, Santana Shaelyn Smith of the Home, 1-Son: Gregory James Clevinger, Vansant, VA, Mother-in-Law: Ann Smith and husband Archie Fulcher, Eden, NC, 2-Sisters: Carla Honaker, Claypool Hill, VA, Teresa Kennedy, Hurley, VA, 2-Brothers: Harless Ray (Bo) Stacy, Hurley, VA, Greg Stacy, Hurley, VA, Special Friend: Ann Stiltner, Grundy, VA

She was preceded in death by her Father-in-Law: Bill Smith.

Funeral Services for BEVERLY LYNN STACY SMITH will be conducted Thursday, October 23, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Hess, Elder Jim Bob Blankenship and Evg. Rafael Farrow officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be: Brandon Evans, Bobby Cox and Family and Friends.
