BILLY G. JOHNSON, 60 years of age of Big Rock, VA, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at the Select Specialty Hospital, Bristol, TN, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Toy and Marie Dye Johnson. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a Coal Miner.

Mr. Johnson is survived by 1-Daughter: Nila Nicolle Jackson and husband Christopher Bullins, Climax, NC, 4-Sisters: Nila Fraley, Big Rock, VA, Janet and husband Kenneth Hankins, Bristol, TN, Dolly Mullins, Bristol, TN, Haletta and husband Danny Keaton, Big Rock, VA, 6-Brothers: Burley and wife JoAnn Johnson, Big Rock, VA, Ersel Johnson, Big Rock, VA, Lester and wife Clovis Johnson, Big Rock, VA, Harold and wife Adalene Johnson, Abingdon, VA, Eddie Johnson and Julie, Big Rock, VA, Harry Johnson and Tammy, Big Rock, VA

Also, survived by 2-Grandsons: Anthony Jackson and Seth Bullins, Climax, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1-Sister: Brenda Epling.

Funeral Services for BILLY G. JOHNSON will be conducted Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Minister: Danny Fraley, Jr. officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M.
