BOYD STACY, 71 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Adam and Sally Stacy. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Regular Baptist Faith. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and was a Disabled Coal Miner. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Mr. Stacy is survived by his wife: Victory Stacy Stacy, Grundy, VA, 2-Daughters: Susie and husband Sonny Stacy, Grundy, VA, Kathy and husband Tony Justus, Grundy, VA, 4-Sons: Mickey Stacy, Grundy, VA, Bobby Stacy, Grundy, VA, Michael and wife Tina Stacy, Grundy, VA, Briton Stacy, Wolford, VA

Also, survived by 14-Grandchildren and 2-Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 2-Sons: Lathey Stacy and Harold Stacy, 1-Sister, 9-Brothers & 3-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for BOYD STACY will be conducted Friday, July 25, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the North Springs Old Regular Baptist Church, Wolford, VA, with Elders: Danny McCoy, Danny Hurley, Josh Jr. Justus, James Stacy, Bill McCoy & Danny Justus officiating with burial to follow at the Clyde Justus Cemetery on Brushy Fork, near Hurley, VA.

Friends may call at the North Springs Old Regular Baptist Church, Wolford, VA, Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. with services Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.
