BUSTER STILTNER, 82 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 at his home following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Jimmy and Mary Hess Stiltner. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of Harman Freewill Baptist Church for 31-years. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and was a retired Coal Miner.

He is survived by his wife, Belva Marie Stacy Stiltner, Grundy, VA, 3-Daughters: Mary Gilliam, Grundy, VA, Carolyn May, Gastonia, NC, Jennifer and husband Dennis Lowe, Bostic, NC, 1-Step-Daughter: Janet Stacy, Grundy, VA, 2-Sons: James Clayton and wife Susan Stiltner, Clemmons, NC, Buster and wife Beth Stiltner, Charlotte, NC, 1-Sister: Madie Mullins, Dudley, MO, 1-Brother: Walter Stiltner, Chicago, IL

Also, survived by 10-Grandchildren: Jessica Stiltner, Christina Lowe, Sarah Lowe, Tabitha Lowe, Jonathan Gilliam, Wendy Lynch, Elizabeth May, Daphne-Jo Stiltner, James Robert Stiltner and Beverly Carver; and 8-Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 5-Sisters: Ollie Stiltner, Bessie Hurley, Kansadia Stiltner, Fern Keen and Lona Stiltner; and 4-Brothers: Carl Stiltner, Willie Stiltner, Leck Stiltner and Lawrence Stiltner.

Funeral Services for BUSTER STILTNER will be conducted Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Harman Freewill Baptist Church with Brothers: Eddie Wilson, Josh Bowman and Ronnie Sliger officiating with burial to follow in the Stiltner Family Cemetery on the Right Side of the Mountain on Stiltner’s Creek, near Grundy, VA.

Friends may call at the Harman Freewill Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon at 4:00 P.M. with services Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be David Owens, John Stiltner, Lloyd Blankenship, Joe Ratliff, Tommy Riddle and Mack Mullins.
