CHRISTOPHER BRIAN CHAFFINS, 37 years of age of Mouth Card, KY, passed away Friday, May 22, 2009 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY, following an extended illness. Born in Pike County, KY, he was the son of the late Acie Thompson and Nellie Jean Smith Chaffins. He was a lifelong resident of Pike County, KY, and was a member of the Biggs Church of God. He was a devoted husband and worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for the Pike County Road Department.

Mr. Chaffins is survived by his wife: Julie Stiltner Chaffins, Mouth Card, KY, 7-Sisters: Diana and husband James Justice, Mouth Card, KY, Patty and husband Ronnie Stepp, Phyllis, KY, Penny Stiltner, Mouth Card, KY, Donna and husband Kenneth Taylor, Biggs, KY, Dena and husband Larry Hall, Mouth Card, KY, Regina Kim and husband Howard Ramey, Rockhouse, KY, Cindy and husband George Spencer, Mouth Card, KY, 4-Brothers: Terry and wife Paulette Chaffins, Grundy, VA, Jerry and wife Fonda Chaffins, Steele, KY, Gregory and wife Donna Chaffins, Richlands, VA, Bradley and wife Misty Chaffins, Akron, IN

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1-Niece: Ashley Stiltner.

Funeral Services for CHRISTOPHER BRIAN CHAFFINS will be conducted Monday, May 25, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Biggs Church of God, Biggs, KY, with Rev. Eddie Stepp officiating with burial to follow in the Big Hackney’s Creek Cemetery, on Big Hackney’s Creek, Mouth Card, KY.

Friends may call at the Biggs Church of God, Biggs, KY, Saturday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Employees of District #3 Pike County Road Department.
