CLOVIS ELSWICK JOHNSON, 62 years of age, of Big Rock, VA passed away Friday, July 23, 2010, following an extended illness.  Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Paris Henry and Eliza Geneva Clevinger Elswick.  She was a life-long resident of Buchanan County and a member of Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church for 35-years.  She was a devoted Wife, loving Mother, Grandmother and was a wonderful Homemaker.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her Husband: Lester Johnson, Jr., - Big Rock, VA; 1-Daughter: Geneva Marie Johnson, Big Rock, VA; 2-Sons:      Kenny Johnson, Big Rock, VA, Leslie Johnson, Abingdon, VA;   1-Brother: Bernard and Wife: Diane Elswick, Big Rock, VA; 2-Grand Daughters: Samantha Johnson,   Abingdon, VA, Kendra Johnson, Big Rock, VA.  Also, survived by several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Paris Henry Elswick – January 26, 1979,        Eliza Geneva Clevinger Elswick –November 18, 1978, 1-Sister: Glema Elswick – 1946; 1-Brother: Ersel Elswick – 1944. 

Funeral Services for CLOVIS ELSWICK JOHNSON will be conducted Tuesday,

July 27, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church, Harman, VA with Elders: Howard Daniels, Roger Coleman, Harold Ramey and Mark Justice officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA

Friends may call at Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church Sunday Evening, July 25, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. with Services Sunday and Monday evenings at 7:00 P.M.
