CLYDE GAINER PRICE, 78 years of age of Rowe, VA, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Tazewell County, VA, he was the son of the late Charlie and Ada Durham Price. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County, of the Holiness Faith and was a Disabled Coal Miner.

Mr. Price was preceded in death by his wife: Gracie Justice Price.

He is survived by 2-Daughters: Mary Clark, Marion, VA, Lucille Price, Richmond, VA, 4-Sons: Jimmy Price, Stuartstown, PA, Eddie Price, Perryman, MD, Clarence Price, Squire, WV, Clyde Price Jr., Perryman, MD, 5-Step-Daughters: Vade and husband Eugene Stiltner, Page, VA, Gerline Hale, Rowe, VA, Chrstine and husband Herman Hess, Rowe, VA, Beulah and husband Delmar Keen, Richlands, VA, Della Justice, Richlands, VA, 4-Step-Sons: Carl and wife Susie Dykes, Rowe, VA, Buford and wife Shirley McGlothlin, Mavisdale, VA, Carter and wife Peggy Justice, Oakwood, VA, Michael and wife Phyllis Justice, Rowe, VA, 1-Brother: Charles and wife Ruth Price, Baptist Valley, VA

Also, survived by several Grandchildren, Step-Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by 2-Wives, 2-Sons, 4-Sisters and 3-Brothers.

Funeral Services for CLYDE GAINER PRICE will be conducted Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Robinson Fork Holiness Church, Rowe, VA, with Ministers: Carl Smith & Luther Bowman officiating with burial to follow in the Whitt Cemetery on Drill Mountain, Rowe, VA.

Friends may call at the Robinson Fork Holiness Church, Rowe, VA, Sunday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Sunday and Monday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Lester “Duke” Street, Dr. Eric Goss and the ICU Nursing Staff of Buchanan General Hospital.
