
DALLAS
ENGLAND,
80 years
of age of Phelps, KY, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at the Buchanan
General Hospital, Grundy, VA, following an extended illness. Born in Pike
County, KY, he was the son of the late Pleas and Ellen Estep England and was a
member of the Mill Creek Freewill Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband and
loving son and was a Retired Coal Miner.
Mr. England was preceded in death by his wife:
Lydia Blankenship England.
He is survived by 2-Sisters: Fern Dotson, Paw
Paw, KY, Polly and husband Jack McCurdy, Camden, TN, 2-Brothers: Jimmie England,
Columbus, OH, Pleas and wife Sharon England Jr., Paw Paw, KY
Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 2-Step-Sons: Dean &
Larry Whitt; 3-Sisters: Bessie Justus, Mary Barrigar and Margie May; and
3-Brothers: Edwin Lewis, Arland “Dutch” and Lando England.
Funeral Services for DALLAS ENGLAND will
be conducted Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Mill Creek
Freewill Baptist Church with Ministers: Michael Casey, Willie Coleman and
William Prater officiating with burial to follow in the Prater Cemetery on
Grassy Fork near Paw Paw, KY.
Friends may call at the Mill Creek Freewill
Baptist Church Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Monday and Tuesday
evenings at 7:00 P.M.
