DANNY LEE SLONE, 47 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2010 following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Bobby Richard and Opal McClanahan Slone. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a disabled Coal Miner.

Mr. Slone is survived by 2-Sons: Derick Slone, Vansant, VA, Nathanial Slone, Hurley, VA, 3-Sisters: Sandy Spencer, Hurley, VA, Sherry Dotson, Hurley, VA, Glenna Spencer, Hurley, VA, 3-Brothers: David Slone, Hurley, VA, Bobby Slone, Keen Mountain, VA, Terry Slone, Hurley, VA, 2-Half-Brothers: Dean Jackson, Hurley, VA, Bill McClanahan, Big Rock, VA

Funeral Services for DANNY LEE SLONE will be conducted Monday, September 20, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kelsa Freewill Baptist Church, Kelsa, VA, with Rev. Ronald Hurley and Rev. Ervin Hurley officiating with burial to follow in the Slone Cemetery on Puncheon Camp near Hurley, VA

Friends may call at the Kelsa Freewill Baptist Church, Kelsa, VA, Saturday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:00 P.M.
