DANNY PAUL JUSTUS, 58 years of age of the Lesters Fork area near Hurley, VA, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 at his home. Born in Buchanan County, VA,  he was the son of the late Raymond Earl and Ethel Belcher Justus. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and graduated from Hurley High School class of 1971 and played football. He also attended Southwest Virginia Community College.  Mr. Justus was a disabled truck driver and was co-owner of Just-Us Coal Corporation. He was a devoted husband, loving father and loving grandfather.

Mr. Justus is survived by his wife: Vickie Hughes Justus, Lesters Fork, VA, 1-Son: Matthew Justus, Grundy, VA, 2-Brothers: Allan and wife Cheryl Justus, Lesters Fork, VA, Ricky and wife Gail Justus, Hurley, VA, 2-Grandchildren: Taylor Justus and Aidan Justus, Hurley, VA, 1-Sister-in-law: Pam Staton, 1-Brother-in-law: Eddie Hughes

Also survived by 3-Nieces: Tracy Curtin, Tabatha Cline and Amanda Staton, 4-Nephews: Allan Justus, Alex Justus, Chris and Tony Staton, 4-Great Nieces: Adrianna Cline, Madison Curtin, Emily Curtin and Kaitlyn Staton, 1-Great Nephew: Tyler Staton.

He was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Larry Justus.

Funeral Services for DANNY PAUL JUSTUS will be conducted Monday, June 27, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, VA with Rev. Curtis Stacy officiating with burial to follow at the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel, Grundy, VA Sunday evening at 6:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be his “Coal Truck Driving Buddies.”
