DONNIE LEE MITCHUM DUTY, 65 years of age of the Lynn Camp Section of Grundy, VA, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lexie Toler Mitchum. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the House of Prayer. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

She is survived by her husband: Eugene Duty, Grundy, VA, 2-Daughters: Glennis and husband Randy Matney, Asheboro, NC, Pamela and husband Mark Brown, Ramseur, NC, 3-Sons: Tommy and wife Lynn Allen, Grundy, VA, Paul and wife Shelia Duty, Denton, NC, Kennith and wife Tinia Duty, Asheboro, NC, 5-Sisters: Madge Owens, Haysi, VA, Nancy Sargent, Hurley, VA, Debbie and husband Farley Duty, Hurley, VA, Mary Taylor, Hurley, VA, Betty Mitchum, Asheboro, NC, 3-Brothers: Johnny and wife Kathy Mitchum, Grundy, VA, Eddie Mitchum, Hurley, VA, Sam and wife Ann Mitchum, Hurley, VA.

Also, survived by 12-Granchildren and 5-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services for DONNIE LEE MITCHUM DUTY will be conducted Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the House of Prayer, Big Rock, VA, with Brothers: Raymond Lester, Paul Dotson, Gary Sutherland and Mike Casey officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the House of Prayer, Big Rock, VA, Monday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Men of the House of Prayer.
