EARL DOTSON, 72 of Paw Paw, KY passed away December 2, 2010 peacefully surrounded by his loving family.  He was the son of the late Will and Rose Dotson.  He was preceded in death by his parents; 1-Sister Opal Allison; 7-Bothers: Cell, Arthur, Flem, Ernie, Everett, George, and Anthony Dotson.  Survived by his bother Bill Dotson, 2-Sisters Ermal Estep, Cora Cantrell, his wife Linda Ann (Estep) Dotson of 45 years. 3-Sons Tony Dotson (Linda), Ronnie Dotson (Alisha), Paw Paw, KY, Wayne Dotson (Erica) Stopover, KY; 3-Daughters: Rita Stewart (Bo) Prestonburg, KY, Shelia Dotson (Jamie) Kimper, KY, Vickie Griffin (Donnie) Dwale, KY. He has eleven grandchildren: Tonya, Jordan. Ashley, Skylar, Travis, Donald Earl, Paige, Kaylah, Dylan, Gabby, MaKayla, and a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.  He was a disabled coal miner, loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He loved hunting, gardening, and working with his hands.  He was a lifelong resident of Paw Paw, KY.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him as he will remain in our hearts and loving memories.  He has gone home to his loving father, but there will be a void forever in the lives of those who were left behind. 

Funeral services for EARL DOTSON will be conducted  Monday, December 6, 2010 at 1:00 pm at the Mill Fork Freewill Baptist Chruch, Paw Paw, KY with Clergy Mike Casey, Jimmy Kerr, and Ronnie Hurley officiating with burial to follow in the Dotson Cemetery, Paw Paw, KY.

Friends may call at the Mill Fork Freewill Baptist Church after 5:00 P.M. Saturday with services at 7:00 Saturday and Sunday evenings. 

Active Pallbearers will be Jordan Dotson, Franklin “Bug” Wolford, Danny Dotson, Gary Hurt, Tim Dotson, and Rodney Dotson.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Employees of Appalachian Hospice and Dr. Ali and Staff.
