EDNA MAE DANIELS KELLY, 89 years of age, of Pilgrim Knob, VA passed away Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 in Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness.  Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late James Garfield and Alcie Osborne Daniels.  She was a life-long resident of Buchanan County and was of the Baptist Faith.  Mrs. Kelly was a devoted wife, loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and a wonderful homemaker.  She was a direct descendent of the Powhatan Indian Tribe and a Domestic Worker.

Mrs. Kelly was preceded in death by her husband: Deedy Kelly in 1984

Survived by: 6-Daughters: Frankie Rife, Hanover, WV, Carmie Mullins, Pilgrim Knob, VA, Mary and Husband: Lawrence Davis, Grundy, VA, Shirley Horn, Reynolds Ridge, VA, Pauline Redmond, Bandy, VA, Patty Kelly, Richmond , VA, 7-Sons:  Jerry and Wife: Donna Kelly, Toccoa, GA, Harless and Wife: Nancy Kelly, Toccoa, GA, Robert Kelly, Grundy, VA, Darrell and Wife: Janice Kelly, Clarksville , GA, Danny Kelly, Walhalla, SC, Dennis Kelly, Pilgrim Knob, VA, Donald and Wife: Kathy, Cedar Bluff, VA, 1-Sister: Florida Keen, Richlands , VA

Also, survived by 36-Grandchildren, 54-Great-Grandchildren and 26-Great-Great-Grandchildren        

She was preceded in death by 1-Daughter: Betty Johnson in 1992, 2-Sons: Lawrence Kelly in 1942, Leslie Kelly in 1971, 3-Grandchildren 1-Great-Grandchild, 3-Sisters and 4-Brothers.

Funeral Services for EDNA MAE DANIELS KELLY will be conducted Tuesday, September 30, 2008 , at 2:00 P.M. at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dean Powers officiating with burial to follow in the Mullins Cemetery on Compton Mountain near Pilgrim Knob, VA  

Friends may call at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. with Services at 7:00 P.M.
