EDWINA CAROL STILTNER, 41 years of age of the Stiltner’s Creek section of Grundy, Virginia, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Buchanan General Hospital following a short illness.  Born in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of Clarence Edward and Mary Hope Adkins Stiltner of Grundy, VA.  She was a member of the Poplar Creek Church of Christ;  a graduate of Grundy Senior High School class of 1987 and was a homemaker.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her children. 

She is survived by her parents - Clarence Edward and Mary Hope Adkins Stiltner, Grundy, VA, Her fiancé: Michael Stacy, Grundy, VA, Two Sons: Joshua Edward Stiltner, Grundy, VA, Alex Bryce Stacy, Grundy, VA, One Sister: Beverly Cable, Richmond, KY, One Brother: Eddie Harold and his wife Jamie Stiltner, Vansant, VA, One Step Sister: Lona Stiltner, Grundy, VA, Three nieces: Megan Addington, Paige Addington and Madison Stiltner, One Nephew: Mason Stiltner.

She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by her Paternal grandparents – Gilmer and Lillie Stiltner and Maternal grandparents – Harold and Mary Adkins; and by her brother-in-law – Charles Brian Cable.

Funeral services for EDWINA CAROL STILTNER will be conducted Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evgs. Raffael Farrow and Sam Casebolt officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park at Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Friday evening after 6:00 P.M with services at 7:00 P.M.
