ELCIE VIOLET STILTNER JUSTICE, 78 years of age of Oakwood, VA, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2008 at the Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, VA, following a brief illness. Born in Russell County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Bryant and Georgie Hess Stiltner. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a member of the Robinson Fork Pentecostal Church. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Daniel Richard Justice, April 29, 1990.

Meadows, Mavisdale, VA, Carolyn Faye and husband Roger Baldwin, Lebanon, VA, Lynda Kay and husband Elbert Lester, Oakwood, VA, Loretta Jane and husband William David Gray, Oakwood, VA, 8-Sons: Roger Lee and wife Shelvy Justice, Raven, VA, Jerry Justice, Mavisdale, VA, Larry Douglas and wife Barbara C. Justice, Oakwood, VA, Harley Richard Justice, Oakwood, VA, Rickey Nelson Justice, Grundy, VA, David Allen and wife Barbara L. Justice, Grundy, VA, Jimmy Wayne and wife Virginia Justice, Oakwood, VA, Darrell and wife Angela Ann Justice, Grundy, VA, 1-Sister: Shirley “Mint” and husband Buford McGlothlin, Oakwood, VA, 2-Brothers: Edward Eugene and wife Vada Stiltner, Oakwood, VA, Carl Reeves and wife Opal Stiltner, Honaker, VA

Also, survived by 12-Grandchildren, 4-Step-Grandchildren, 18-Great-Grandchildren and 8-Step-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 1-Son: Ray Veen Justice, 2-Sisters: Magalene Wall and Ethel Stiltner, and 6-Brothers: Edgar, Chester, Estil, Lawrence, Junior and Marshall Stiltner.

Funeral Services for ELCIE VIOLET STILTNER JUSTICE will be conducted Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 12:00 Noon at the Deliverance Tabernacle, Patterson, VA, with Revs.: Carl Smith, Jerry Matney, Michael Justice and Frank Blankenship officiating with burial to follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Pikeville, KY.

Friends may call at the Deliverance Tabernacle, Patterson, VA, Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be: Grandsons.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Nathaniel Blankenship, Barry Shane Humbert and Kevin Yates.
