ELDER EARL HOWARD DANIELS, 65 years of age of Harman, VA, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at his home following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Henry and Evelyn Cline Daniels. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Old Regular Baptist Church for over 49-years and presently of the Little Martha Old Regular Baptist Church. Howard served as Assistant Moderator of the Little Martha Old Regular Baptist Church and Bethlehem Old Regular Baptist Church #2 and Moderator for the Bull Creek and Home Creek Old Regular Baptist Churches. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and was last employed with the United Coal Company having worked at Shop #1 as a Mechanic/Welder.

Mr. Daniels is survived by his wife, Wanda Gail Hackney Daniels, Harman, VA, 1-Daughter: Tammie and husband Rodney Wolford, North Tazewell, VA, 3-Sisters: Edith Mullins, Abingdon, VA, Mable McClung, Hedgesville, WV, Ellen Daniels, Partlow, VA, 5-Brothers: Roger and wife Geraldine Daniels, Vansant, VA, Ronnie and wife Myrtle Daniels, Grundy, VA, Michael and wife Lora Daniels, Grundy, VA, Ersel and wife Belvie Daniels, Grundy, VA, Uley and wife Zella Daniels, Blountville, TN, Sister-in-Law: Beatrice Daniels, Clarkston, MI

Also, survived by 3-Grandchildren: McKenze, Brooke and Isaac Wolford, North Tazewell, VA, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Clarence Daniels.

Funeral Services for ELDER EARL HOWARD DANIELS will be conducted Sunday, December 26, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Elders: Roger Coleman, Kermit Wright, Teddy Honaker, Jimmy Dale Sanders, James Tackett, Jerry Overstreet, Carson Wright, Mark Justice and Larry Puckett officiating with burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Tim Clevinger, Bob Looney, Doug Potter, Justin Stiltner, DeJay Stiltner, McKenze Wolford, Jimmy Stacy and Doug Stacy.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of the Little Martha Old Regular Baptist Church, Bull Creek Old Regular Baptist Church, Bethlehem Old Regular Baptist Church #2 and Home Creek Old Regular Baptist Church.
