ELIZABETH ANN HEDRICK HICKS, 57 years of age of Vansant, VA, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Mooresville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Melvin Odell and Ruth Lorene Forsyth Hedrick. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hicks is survived by her husband, Darnel Hicks, Vansant, VA, 3-Daughters: Anita and husband Pete Markham, Hickory, NC, Sherry Clark, Conover, NC, Geneva Seitz, Vansant, VA, 1-Son: Daniel Frazee, Jr., Vansant, VA, 2-Sisters: Susan and husband Wayne Bennett, Hartford, AL, Elaine Forsyth, NC, 1-Brother: Steve Hedrick, Bristol, TN

Also, survived by 9-Grandchildren: Shane, John, Serena, Savannah, Junior, Adam, Damion, Alisha and Trinity; 1-Great-Grandchild: Anya; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 1-Sister: Sadra Ricardo, and 3-Brothers: Donald Wayne, Thomas Odell and Kenneth Hedrick.

Funeral Services for ELIZABETH ANN HEDRICK HICKS will be conducted Sunday, August 8, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Larry D. Ratliff officiating.
