ELIZABETH WILSON BOND COLEMAN, 79 years of age of the Little Prater Section of Grundy, VA, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN, following an extended illness. Born in Russell County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Willie Edward and Nanny Bell Honaker Wilson. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a member of the Little Prater Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Coleman was preceded in death by her first husband: Charles Elmer Bond and second husband: Alva Carroll Coleman.

She is survived by 1-Daughter: Angelina and husband Brad Mullins, Stone Mountain, GA, 2-Sons: Charlie Elmer Bond, Swords Creek, VA, Alva Lee Coleman, Grundy, VA, 5-Sisters: Lois F. Coleman, Vansant, VA, Patsy Collins, Knoxville, TN, Bobbie Jean Fuller, Walkertown, NC, Irene V. Rash, Pulaski, VA, Phyllis Wiley, Bland, VA, 2-Brothers: Carson Wilson, Roanoke, VA, Harvey E. Wilson, Dublin, VA

Also, survived by 11-Grandchildren, 8-Great-Grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by 1-Daughter: Judy Bond Meadows, 1-Son: Ronnie Bond, and 5-Sisters: Wilma Sue Wilson, Biddie Ward, Geneva Bernice Estep, Barbara Carol Yates and Hazel Edith Boyd.

Funeral Services for ELIZABETH WILSON BOND COLEMAN will be conducted Friday, January 1, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Little Prater Church of Christ with Gerald Vanover officiating with burial to follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA.

Friends may call at the Little Prater Church of Christ Thursday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.
