ETHEL BELCHER JUSTUS, 84 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Kate Justus Belcher. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and attended of the Hurley Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Justus graduated from Hurley High School and attended Southwest Virginia Community College. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a Teacher’s Aid at D.A. Justus Elementary School.

Mrs. Justus was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Earl Justus, October 22, 1966.

She is survived by 3-Sons: Ricky and wife Gail Justus, Hurley, VA, Danny Paul and wife Vickie Justus, Hurley, VA, Al and wife Cheryl Justus, Hurley, VA, 2-Sisters: Hattie and husband Johnny Matney, Hurley, VA, Carolyn Whited, Abingdon, VA

Also, survived by 5-Grandchildren: Tracy Curtin, Matthew Justus, Tabby Cline, Allan Justus and Alex Justus; and 5-Great-Grandchildren: Madison Curtin, Adrianna Cline, Taylor Justus and Aidan Justus.

She was preceded in death by 1-Son: Larry Justus, 2-Sisters: Minnie Lloyd and Julia Belcher; and 4-Brothers: Lee Belcher, Cecil Belcher, Jim Belcher and Charles Belcher.

Funeral Services for ETHEL BELCHER JUSTUS will be conducted Monday, August 18, 2008 at 3:00 P.M. at the Hurley Presbyterian Church, Hurley, VA, with Pastor Curtis Stacy officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Hurley Presbyterian Church, Hurley, VA, Sunday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Friends.
