ETTIE MAE HILL, 62 years of age of Vansant, Virginia, passed away at the Clinch Valley Medical Center Saturday, December 13, 2008 after an extended illness.  Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Ira Lee and Gladys Catherine Coleman Jackson.  She was a member of the Church of Christ and a housewife.  Mrs. Hill was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Hill on June 15, 2004.  She enjoyed the outdoors and hiking in the mountains.

She is survived by 1-Daughter: Rhonda Renee and husband Ernest Gilbert, Davenport, VA, 1-Son: Billy Ray and wife Marilynn Marie Hill, Vansant, VA, 3-Sisters: Agnes and husband Roger Hurley, Vansant, VA, Lois Boyd, Vansant, VA, Ruth and husband Roger Gilbert, Vansant, VA, 3- Brothers: Ira Roger Jackson, Vansant, VA, Elmer and wife Sue Jackson, Vansant, VA, Paul and wife Geneva Jackson, Vansant, VA

Also, survived by 3- Grandchildren: Jeannie Mae Grace Hill, Bailee Isabella Marie Hill and Anthony Gilbert.

Graveside rites for ETTIE MAE HILL will be conducted Monday, December 15, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Claypool Hill, VA, with Evg. Mike Rife officiating with entombment to follow.  The family requests friends to meet at the Greenhills Memory Garden Mausoleum Monday at 12:45 P.M.
