EUGENE BERTON STILTNER, 70 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 at his home following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Roy and Lydia Stacy Stiltner. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of Deliverance Tabernacle. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and was a Coal Miner for Harman Mining Company and a member of UMWA Local Union #7025.

Mr. Stiltner is survived by his wife of 46-Years, Dorothy Ward Stiltner, Grundy, VA, 3-Sons: Patrick Stiltner and fiancé Teresa Fields, Belfast, VA, Timothy Ray and wife Angel Stiltner, Orlando, WV, Gregory and wife DeVonna Stiltner, Grundy, VA, 1-Brother: Lundy Harold and wife Loretta Stiltner, Abingdon, VA

Also, survived by 3-Granddaughters: Katlian Dawn Stiltner, Krista Stiltner and Emily Taylor Stiltner; and 1-Grandson: Tyler Stiltner.

He was preceded in death by 1-Sister: Maxine Farmer; and 6-Brothers: Clayton Stiltner, Kermit Stiltner, Troy Stiltner, Fletcher Stiltner, Sidney Stiltner and Clarence Stiltner.

Funeral Services for EUGENE BERTON STILTNER will be conducted Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers: Jerry Matney and Randy Webb officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be David Meadows, Darrell Justice, Jimmy Stiltner, Wayne McCowan, Mack Fields and Gary Stiltner.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Moore, Bobby Prater and Dr. M.J. Thakkar.
