EULA LEE RAY DINGESS, 72 years of age of the Patterson Section of Oakwood, VA, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at the Clinch Valley Medical Center, Richlands, VA, following an extended illness. Born in Russell County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Gladys Ray. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was of the Church of Jesus Faith. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and was a wonderful Homemaker.

Mrs. Dingess is survived by her husband, William Arthur Dingess, Patterson Road, Oakwood, VA, 2-Daughters: Mary Ann and husband Larry Chafins, Oakwood, VA, Kathy Dingess, Pounding Mill, VA, 1-Brother: James Ray, Rosedale, VA, 2-Granddaughters: Billie Joe and husband Shaun Mullins, Dandridge, TN, Brandie Chafins and fiancé Ricky Swiney, Grand Junction, CO, 1-Grandson: Jeremy Dingess and partner Matthew Joyce, Cedar Bluff, VA

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 3-Sisters: Mary Ray, Helen Ray & Ethel Deel.

Funeral Services for EULA LEE RAY DINGESS will be conducted Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers: Charles Hubbard and Freddie Rife officiating with burial to follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Shaun Mullins, Bill Maggard, Jimmy Vandyke, Scotty Vandyke, Jody Vandyke and Chad Vandyke.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Marrs, Larry Chafins and Junior Vandyke.
