FAITH SPENCER, 34 years of age of Knoxville, TN, formerly of Buchanan County, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2010. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of Melvin Spencer, Jr., of the Home Creek Section of Grundy, VA, and the late Susan Sorenson Spencer. She was a resident of Buchanan County most of her life and was a member of Home Creek Old Regular Baptist Church. Ms. Spencer was a Cashier at McDonalds.

Ms. Spencer is survived by 1-Son: Nathan Everett Matney, Grundy, VA, 1-Sister: Becky Perdue, Kansas, 3-Brothers: Anthony and wife Bridgett Spencer, Grundy, VA, Melvin Spencer III, New York City, NY, Michael Perdue, Texas

Funeral Services for FAITH SPENCER will be conducted Friday, March 19, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Home Creek Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders: Howard Daniels, Roger Coleman and Toy Looney officiating with burial to follow in Justus Cemetery on Home Creek, near Grundy, VA.

Friends may call at the Home Creek Old Regular Baptist Church Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
