FRANK THOMAS, 60 years of age of Vansant, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2008 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness.  Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Riley and Virgie Boyd Thomas.  He was the Co-Owner and Co-Manager along with his brother Edward Thomas of Thomas Furniture Store in Grundy, Virginia.  He was of the Protestant Faith.

Mr. Thomas is survived by one sister – Nadine Thomas of Vansant, VA, Two Brothers: Eugene Thomas, Vansant, VA, Edward Thomas, Vansant, VA

He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Virgie Boyd Thomas and Four Brothers – Cecil Thomas, J. C. Thomas, Sidney Thomas and Ralph Thomas.

Funeral services for FRANK THOMAS will be conducted Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Elder James Stacy officiating with burial to follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, VA

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Wednesday afternoon after 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.
