
GERALDINE OSBORNE O’QUINN,
60 years of age of Vansant, VA, passed away Tuesday, March 16,
2010 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she
was the daughter of the late Earnest S. and Virgie Armes Osborne. She was a
lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Vansant Church of
Christ. She was a 1968 graduate of Grundy Senior High School and attended
Southwest Virginia Community College. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and
grandmother and was a retired Clerk having worked last for the Black Diamond
Store.
Mrs. O’Quinn is survived by her husband, James M.
O’Quinn, Vansant, VA, 1-Daughter: Tina Osborne Nash and companion Herman
Stiltner, Grundy, VA, 2-Step-Daughters: Christina and husband Chad Taylor,
Abingdon, VA, Jessica O’Quinn, Abingdon, VA, 2-Sons: Richard and wife Sandy
Hopkins, Pembrooke, VA, Josh and wife Ashley Hopkins, Hurley, VA, 1-Step-Son:
Jeremiah O’Quinn, Abingdon, VA, 4-Brothers: James and wife Stella Osborne,
Defiance, OH, Bill and wife Willie Osborne, Morristown, TN, Ronald and wife
Glenna Osborne, Columbus, OH, Delmar and wife Mary Osborne, Vansant, VA
Also, survived by 4-Grandchildren: Amber Hurley,
Kaylee Hopkins, Logan Hopkins and Braden Hopkins.
Funeral Services for GERALDINE OSBORNE O’QUINN
will be conducted Friday, March 19, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral
Home Chapel with Evg. Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in Mountain
View Cemetery on Rakes Ridge, near Haysi, VA.
Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home
Chapel Thursday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.
