GREGORY STEPHEN CAUDILL, 51 years of age of the Elkins Branch Section of Grundy, VA, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY, following an extended illness. Born in Whitesburg, KY, he was the son of the late Burtus and Earnestine Shortt Caudill. He was a resident of Buchanan County most of his life and was a member of the New Hope Christian Church. He was a devoted husband, loving father and was a former employee of Virginia Energy Coal Co.

Mr. Caudill is survived by his wife, Mary Lee Montgomery Caudill, Grundy, VA, 2-Daughters: Amanda Leigh Caudill, Grundy, VA, Jessica Nicole Caudill, Grundy, VA, 1-Son: Zackery Stephen Caudill, Grundy, VA, 1-Sister: Michelle Welch, Glade Springs, VA, 2-Brothers: Mickey Caudill, Clintwood, VA, Jeffery Caudill, Bristol, TN

Also, survived by 1-Niece: Joy Bledsoe, 1-Great-Niece: Rylee Broyles, 2-Nephews: Devon Shortridge and Matt McCormack.

Funeral Services for GREGORY STEPHEN CAUDILL will be conducted Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the New Hope Christian Church, Grundy, VA, with Evg. William L. Neeley officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the New Hope Christian Church, Grundy, VA, Thursday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.
