HERMAN LEE MULLINS, 77 years of age of Grundy, VA, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport, TN, following an extended illness. Born in McDowell County, WV, he was the son of the late Ezra and Mary Estep Mullins. He was a resident of Buchanan County most of his life and was of the Christian Faith. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and was a retired strip miner having worked for the United Coal Company.

Mr. Mullins was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Lester Mullins, August 28, 2005

He is survived by 2-Daughters: Barbara Puckett and husband Noah, Grundy, VA, Judith Baker and husband Douglas, Grundy, VA, 1-Grandson: Timothy Mullins and wife Christina, Grundy, VA, 1-Great-Granddaughter: Kayleigh Grace Mullins, Grundy, VA

He was preceded by 1-Son-in-Law: Teddy Mullins, January 9, 2002.

Funeral Services for HERMAN LEE MULLINS will be conducted Friday, April 15, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at the Crossview Church of Christ, near Paynesville, WV, with Evg. Hobert Kennedy, Ministers: Roscoe and Curtis Crouse officiating with burial to follow in the Mullins Cemetery on State Line Ridge #1, near Paynesville, WV.

Friends may call at the Crossview Church of Christ, near Paynesville, WV, Thursday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
