HUBERT DEMPSEY WHITE, 84 of Wilmington, North Carolina died on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.  He was a former resident of Jewell Ridge, VA.

He was born on March 23, 1925 in Tazewell County, VA.  He is the son of the late Tolbert and Sally Allen White.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Whaley White; three brothers Junior White, Eugene White, and Vincent White.

He is survived by three sons, Kyle White and wife, Debbie; Emory White and wife, Denise, all of Wilmington, North Carolina; Dale White of Lumber Bridge, North Carolina; and one daughter Donnia Bucklen and husband, Gary, of Whitewood, VA;  Four grandchildren, Christy Bucklen-Bower, Kori Miller-White, Michael White, and Nicole White; one sister, Hazel Keen, of Richlands, VA; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at the Greenhill Memorial Garden Mausoleum #4 in Claypool Hill, VA at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 13, 2010.
