JAMES MORRIS JUSTUS, 68 years of age of the Slate Creek Section of Grundy, VA, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2008 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Steward C. and Maud Justus. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was of the Protestant Faith. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and worked as a Coal Miner where he weighed coal.

Mr. Justus is survived by his wife: Grethel Louise Lester Justus, Grundy, VA, 1-Daughter: Rebecca Susan and husband Ricky Allen Blevins, Lebanon, VA, 2-Sons: Jeffrey Allen and wife Teresa Ann Justus, Hillsborough, NC, James Alexander Justus, Grundy, VA, 1-Sister: Loraine Blick, Chesterfield, MI

Also, survived by 5-Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1-Brother: Henry Epling.

Funeral Services for JAMES MORRIS JUSTUS will be conducted Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the House of Prayer, Big Rock, VA, with Pastors: Raymond Lester, James Chapman and Evg. Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in Mudlick Cemetery on Convict Hollow, near Harman, VA.

Friends may call at the House of Prayer, Big Rock, VA, Monday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7:00 P.M.
