JAMES TURNER JUSTUS, 72 years of age of the Lester’s Fork Section of Hurley, VA, passed away Monday, August 16, 2010 after injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Buchanan County, he was son of the late Garfield and Edna Stacy Justus. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a devoted husband and a retired Coal Miner.

Mr. Justus was preceded in death by his wife, Esta Jean Hankles Justus, 2003.

He is survived by 2-Sisters: Dorothy Marie Justus, Ohio, Florence Justus, California, 2-Brothers: Bobby G. Justus, Hurley, VA, Virgil L. Justus, Martinsville, VA

Also, survived by several Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in death by 1-Son: Bobby Lee Justus, 1-Sister: Wilma Justus and 1-Brother: Donnie Justus.

Funeral Services for JAMES TURNER JUSTUS will be conducted Friday, August 20, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Elders: Roger Coleman, Danny Hurley, Danny McCoy, Jackie Yates, Zeb Justus, John R. Justus, David Lester and Roy Lester officiating with burial to follow in George Stacy Cemetery on the Left Fork of Guesses Fork, Hurley, VA.

Friends may call at the Pine Grove Old Regular Baptist Church Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Marlin Justus, Edd Gibson, Wayne Vance, Matt Justus, Shawn Justus, Larry Stacy, Ricky Justus and Ralph Justus.
