JEFFERY ADAM RAMEY, 19 years of age, of the Race Fork section, Hurley, VA passed away due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Friday, July 3, 2009.  Born in Tazewell County, he was a son of Jeffery Hardin of Hurley, VA and Christina Justus of Grundy, VA.  He was a graduate of Hurley High School Class of 2008 where he was a member of the Academic Team.  He was employed as an Emergency Medical Technician for Rescue 33Ambulance Service in Grundy, VA.

Including his parents, Mr. Ramey is survived by:  3-Brothers:  Tyler Justus, Grundy, VA,   Tristan Justus, Grundy, VA, Matthew Justus, Grundy, VA; Paternal Grandmother: Cora Marie Conn, Hurley, VA; Maternal Grandmother:  Gwen Ramey, Princeton, WV; Maternal Grandfather: Kenny Ramey, Big Rock, VA.

He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather: Jerry Conn.

Funeral services for JEFFERY ADAM RAMEY will be conducted Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at 1:00 P.M at the Church of God in Jesus’ Name , Guesses Fork, Hurley, VA with Reverends Tommy Conn, Bobby Conn, and Joe Conn officiating with burial to follow in the Baker Cemetery, Race Fork Road near Hurley, VA.

Friends may call at the Church of God in Jesus’ Name, Guesses Fork, Hurley, VA  Sunday afternoon at 4:00 P.M. with Services on Sunday and Monday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be:  Aaron Ramey, Michael Ramey, Ervin Hardin, Ricky Hardin, Brandon West, Benny Hardin, Brian Hardin, and David Brown.

Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Brandon Cochran, Joshua England, Freddie Matney, Scottie Stacy, and the Employees of Rescue “33”.
