JUANITA GAY OSBORNE MURPHY, 88 years of age, of Vansant, VA passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010, in Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, VA following an extended illness.  Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late William Walker and Margaret (Maggie) Armes Osborne.  She was a life-long resident of Buchanan County, a member of Harman Freewill Baptist Church, a devoted Wife and a wonderful Homemaker.

Mrs. Murphy was preceded in death by her husband: Giles Elmer Murphy  - Sept. 27, 1994.

She is survived by 1-Sister: Betty Osborne and husband: Ray Smith, Vansant, VA, 2-Brothers: Donald and Wife: Julia Osborne, Roanoke, VA, James and Wife: Della Osborne, Mt. Carmel, TN

Also, survived by several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by 2–Sisters:  Goldie Armes & Georgia Osborne and 2-Brothers: F. D. Osborne & Arnold Osborne

Funeral Services for JUANITA GAY OSBORNE MURPHY will be conducted Sunday, November 7, 2010, at 2:00 P.M. at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Ministers: Ronnie Sliger, Eddie Wilson, and Josh Bowman officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA

Friends may call at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Friday evening at 5:00 P.M for visitation. with Services Saturday evening at 7:00 P.M
