LAUNE EVELYN STILTNER, 88 years of age of Cedar Bluff, VA, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in Tazewell, VA, following a brief illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late George and Amanda Reed Stiltner. She was a resident of Buchanan County for several years prior to moving to Michigan. She moved back to the Cedar Bluff area for several years and was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Stiltner is survived by her husband, Hurmel Lee Stiltner, Cedar Bluff, VA.

Mrs. Stiltner is survived by 1-Son: Bill and wife Pat Belcher, Cedar Bluff, VA, 1-Step-Son: Kermit and wife Anita Stiltner, Fraser, MI, 2-Step-Daughters: Rose Stiltner, Tazewell, VA, Anna and husband Morris Kiser, Cedar Bluff, VA, 1-Son-in-Law: Doug Lester, Cedar Bluff, VA, 2-Sisters: Loretta Williamson, Mussey, MI, Chris Nichols, Hazel Park, MI, 1-Brother: Charles and wife Sylvia Stiltner, Tazewell, VA

Also, survived by 9-Grandchildren, 2-Step-Grandchildren, and 9-Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her step mother, Elizabeth Stiltner, 1-Daughter: Ruth Louise Lester, 1-Granddaugher: Amanda Laune Grose, 5-Sisters: Ethel Stiltner, Edith Daugherty, Udell Stiltner, Nell Potter and Ival Childress; 2-Brothers: Elzie Stiltner and Estil Stiltner.

Funeral Services for LAUNE EVELYN STILTNER will be conducted Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Elders: Toy Looney, Howard Daniels, Roger Coleman and Jackie Yates officiating with burial to follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens, Claypool Hill, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Saturday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons: Steven Kiser, Jason Kiser, Steven Lester, Dan Belcher and Michael Shrader.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Morris Kiser, Doug Lester, David Belcher, Doug Potter, Randall Potter, Johnny Potter and Butch Childress.
