LILLIAN JACKSON LESTER COLEMAN, 92 years of age of the Paw Paw, Ky, passed away Sunday, September 19, 2010 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness.  Born in Pike County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Jane McClanahan Jackson.  She was a member of the Lord’s House Church in Phelps, KY, and was a Homemaker.  She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. 

Mrs. Coleman is survived by 3 daughters: Juanita Estep, Hurley, VA, Dimple J.Estep, Paw Paw, KY, Melanie and husband Bryan Matney, Hurley, VA, Two Sons: Jimmie and his wife Nancy Lester, Paw Paw, KY, Tom and his wife Karen Lester, Grundy, VA, Five Granddaughters: Donna and her husband Joey Blankenship, Hurley, VA, Margie and her husband Danny Rife, Hurley, VA, Jayne and her husband Dallas Hess, Grundy, VA, Alyssa and her husband Ricky Baker, Hurley, VA, Kayla Shea Matney, Hurley, VA, Four Grandsons: Joseph Rodrick and his wife Ruth Estep, Hurley, VA, Hassel David and his wife Mary Estep, Blufton, SC, Coty Hassel and his wife Destiny Estep, Hurley, VA, Jamie Scott Lester, Paw Paw, KY, Four Great Granddaughters: Emily Hess, Hannah Estep, Angel Rife and Ashlee Estep, Seven Great Grandsons: Ryan Lester, Corey Lester, Devin Estep, Adam Estep, Micah Blankenship, Jacob Blankenship and Brandon Rife, Two Brothers-in-Law: Blane Lester, Mouthcard, KY, Thurman and his wife Ruby Lester, Wolford, VA

She was preceded in death by her first husband – Scott Lester, her second husband Amos Coleman, three sisters – Lona Blankenship, Lottie Blankenship and Roxie Blankenship; Five Brothers – Willie Jessie, Henry Jessie, Lonnie Jackson, Earl Jackson and Harrison Jessie; 2-Brothers-in-Law – Don Lester and Guy Lester and sister-in-Law Irene Hager.

Funeral services for LILLIAN JACKSON LESTER COLEMAN will b conducted Wednesday,  September 22, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lord’s House Church in Phelps, KY with Rev’s Mitch Bowling and Chris Casey officiating with burial to follow in the Lester Cemetery on Rockhouse Road, Paw Paw, KY.

Friends may call Tuesday afternoon after 5:00 P.M. at the Lord’s House Church with services at 6:30 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons, Family and Friends.
