MARK STEVEN “TIC” LOONEY, 47 years of age of Maxie, VA, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at his home following a brief illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of Pauline Clevinger Looney, Maxie, VA, and the late Clarence Randall Looney. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of Harman Memorial Baptist Church. He was a loving son and brother and was a general laborer.

Mr. Looney is survived by 3-Sons: Bryan Anthony and wife Trenia Looney, Maxie, VA, Randall Steven Looney, Maxie, VA, Jesse Charles, Big Rock, VA, 1-Step-Daughter: Sandra McCoy, Haysi, VA, 2-Step-Sons: James McCoy, Haysi, VA, Ricky McCoy, Haysi, VA, 3-Sisters: Donna and husband Dewey Looney, Grundy, VA, Sandra Looney, Las Vegas, NV, Tammy Looney Faust, Jefferson, GA, 1-Brother: Randy and wife Sheila Looney, Maxie, VA

Also, survived by 3-Grandchildren: Logan Looney, Madison Looney and Talen Looney, all of Maxie, VA, and 5-Nieces: Shawna Lester, Sheena Looney, Julie Looney, Sara Looney and Alyssa Lester.

He was preceded in death by grandparents: Arlin and Exie Clevinger and Harrison and Sarah Ann Looney.

Funeral Services for MARK STEVEN “TIC” LOONEY will be conducted Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, Harman, VA, with Rev. Shea Shrader, Rev. Lee Upchurch and Evg. Dennis Wimmer officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, Harman, VA, Thursday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Thursday and Friday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Kermit Clevinger, Brian Stiltner, Tommy Joe Clevinger, George Allen Looney, Jerry Ramey, Roger Wilson, Kenny Prater, Mikey Elswick, and Steve Riggsby.
