MARSHA ANN VIERS, 56 years of age of Maxie, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at Buchanan General Hospital, Grundy, Virginia following a short illness.  Born in Tazewell County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ernest H. and Lolita Jordan Viers. She was a graduate of Grundy High School, a member of Harman Memorial Baptist Church, and was a disabled typist.

Ms. Viers was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents: Taze and Virgie Ray Viers.

Ms. Viers is survived by 1-Sister: Mary Viers Matney, Grundy, Virginia, 1-Aunt: Joyce and husband Edward MacFarlane, Madison Heights, MI, 1-Aunt: Betty Herrington, 1-Nephew: Rages and wife Amanda Matney, Grundy, Virginia

Funeral services for MARSHA ANN VIERS, will be conducted Friday, November 14, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church, Harman, VA with Evangelist Dennis Wimmer, Pastor Shea Shrader, Evangelist Jim Viers and Pastor Lee Upchurch officiating with entombment to follow in the Mountain Rest Mausoleum, Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, Virginia. 

Friends may call at the Harman Memorial Baptist Church on Thursday at 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Frankie Landreth, Dewey Looney, Greg Barnett, Grant Shrader, Larry Stiltner, David Cook, Brian Looney, Larry Ratliff, Jr., Brian Boyd, Donnie Blankenship, and Jerry Hodge.
