MARVIN ALEX DOTSON, 20 years of age of Hurley, VA, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Buchanan General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Pike County, KY, he was the son of Marvin and Cathy Slone Dotson, Hurley, VA. He was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County, a 2010 Graduate of Hurley High School and was a member of Bethany Bible Church.

Mr. Dotson is survived by his parents, Marvin and Cathy Slone Dotson of Hurley, VA, 1-Sister: Tonya Gale Dotson, Hurley, VA, 1-Brother: Brandon and wife April Slone, Hurley, VA, 1-Nephew: Payton Alex Slone, Hurley, VA, Maternal Grandparents: Dorothy and Perry Slone, Hurley, VA, Paternal Grandmother: Betty Dotson, Paw Paw, KY

Also, survived by several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, James Estil Dotson. 

Funeral Services for MARVIN ALEX DOTSON will be conducted Monday, June 21, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bethany Bible Church, Paw Paw, KY, with Ministers: Paul Rife, Mike Casey and Steve May officiating with burial to follow in Dotson Cemetery, Paw Paw, KY.

Friends may call at the Bethany Bible Church Saturday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. with services Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Chad Dotson, Junior Blankenship, Terry Meadows, Chris Smith, Cody Bevins, Travis Matney, Travis Fields and Family.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. R. Patel, Staff of Hurley High School, and the Hurley High School Graduating Class of 2010, his classmates.
