MARY DUTY LOONEY, 65 years of age of Breaks, VA, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008 at her home following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of Arthur Edward Duty, Vansant, VA, and the late Stella Smith Duty. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and was a member of the Little Jocie Old regular Baptist Church for 41-Years. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Looney is survived by her husband: Roy Looney, Breaks, VA, 1-Son: Roy Dwayne and wife Donna Marie Honaker Looney, Breaks, VA, 1-Daughter: Nancy and husband Keith Gruber, Blacksburg, VA, 1-Sister: Rita Mae and husband Onsby Yates, Vansant, VA, 1-Brother: Charles Edward and wife Charlotte Duty, Lebanon, VA, 3-Grandchildren: Tyler Dwayne Looney, Breaks, VA, Zachary Layne Looney, Breaks, VA, Sean Michael Gruber, Blacksburg, VA

Funeral Services for MARY DUTY LOONEY will be conducted Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Little Jocie Old Regular Baptist Church, Breaks, VA, with Elders: Toy Looney, A.B. Thacker, James Wright, Jackie Yates, Larry Puckett and Roger Coleman officiating with burial to follow in K.S. Colley Cemetery, Breaks, VA.

Friends may call at the Little Jocie Old Regular Baptist Church, Breaks, VA, Monday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Monday and Tuesday evenings at 7:00 P.M.
