MISS BARBARA OLENE DEEL, 62 years of age, of North Wilkesboro, NC, formerly of Buchanan County, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010, in Wilkes Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.  Born in Buchanan County, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Ruby Owens Deel.  She was a member of Wilkesboro Church of Christ.

Miss Deel was preceded in death by her parents: Donald Deel – November 19, 1992, and Ruby Owens Deel October 7, 2003.

She is survived by 1-Sister: Erma  Kay (Husband-Mike) Sikora, McGrady, NC

Funeral Services for MISS BARBARA OLENE DEEL will be conducted Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evg. Mike Rife officiating with burial to follow in Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA

Friends may call at Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Saturday morning at 10:00 A.M. to await the funeral hour at 11:00 A.M.
