MOLLY BLAIR GOBLE,
81 years of age of the Home Creek section of
Grundy, Virginia, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the Buchanan
General Hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Thacker, WV, she was the daughter
of the late Daniel and Maggie Riddle Blair.
She was a member of the
Freewill Baptist Church, a former
Production worker for the McGraw Edison Company, and was a loving wife,
mother Grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her
husband John Gobel on January 2, 2006.
Mrs. Goble is survived by two sons:
Don D. and his wife Peggy Goble, Lebanon,
VA, George H. and his wife Linda Goble, Grundy, VA, One Brother: G.C. Blair,
Tram, KY, Seven Grandchildren:
Don Davy Goble II, Albion, MI, James and his wife
Dorothy Goble, Hillsdale, MI, Rhonda Gonzales, Seattle, WA, Larry Lybarger,
Michigan, Nathaniel Goble, Grundy, VA, Ryan Lybarger, Seattle, WA, George
Kelly Goble, Grundy, VA
She is also
survived by 8 Great-Grand Children
She was preceded
in death by her husband John Goble, one sister – Betty Dimory and one son –
John B. Lybarger.
Funeral services for
MOLLY BLAIR GOBLE will be
conducted Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Britt Jackson and Rev. Jimmy Kerr officiating with
burial to follow in the Mountain Valley Memorial Park at Big Rock, VA.
Friends may call
at the Grundy Funeral Home after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday with services Wednesday
evening at 7:00 P.M.
