OCIE JUSTUS BARTON, 82 years of age of Vansant, VA, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2011 at the Wellmont-Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, TN, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Harrison and Ida Bell McClanahan Justus. She was a lifelong resident of Buchanan County and attended the Vansant Church of Christ. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and was a wonderful homemaker.

Mrs. Barton is survived by her husband, Lemmie Lee Barton, Vansant, VA, 1-Daughter: Shirley and husband Randall Moore, Grundy, VA, 1-Son: Ricky Lee and wife Ruby Lynn Barton, Vansant, VA, 1-Granddaughter: Eden Nicole Barton, Vansant, VA, 1-Brother: Charlie and wife Ruth Justus, Big Rock, VA

Also, survived by Special Sister-in-Law: Virginia Tiller, Vansant, VA, and several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by 1-Grandson: Isaac Lemmie Lee Barton, 1-Sister: Thelsia Justus, 3-Brothers: Bud, Henry and Willie Justus.

Funeral Services for OCIE JUSTUS BARTON will be conducted Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel with Evg. Mike Rife, Rev. Eddie Wilson and Evg. Stanley Smith officiating with burial to follow in the Tiller Cemetery, Council, VA.

Friends may call at the Grundy Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday afternoon at 5:00 P.M. with services at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Buchanan General Home Health Nurses, Dr. J.G. Patel and Mrs. Barton’s Nursing Aids.
