PALMER “BO” LESTER, 71 years of age of Four Oaks, NC, formerly of Buchanan County, passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital, Smithfield, NC, following an extended illness. Born in Buchanan County, he was the son of the late Levi and Gladys Howard Lester. He was a resident of Buchanan County most of his life prior to moving to North Carolina and was of the Pentecostal Faith. Mr. Lester was baptized on February 13, 2010 by Wade Endicott in Johnston Memorial Hospital with his wife and family by his side. He was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and was a Disabled Auto Mechanic.

Mr. Lester is survived by his wife: Deborah Lester Lester, Four Oaks, NC, 2-Daughters: Mrs. Pamela and husband Billy Beggs, Princeton, WV, Mrs. Trish and husband Dale Martin, New Bern, NC, 2-Sons: Dean and wife Wendy Lester, Vanceboro, NC, Jeffrey Dwayne Lester and fiancé Rachel Alverson, Clayton, NC, 1-Sister: Juanita and husband Roger Runyons, Pounding Mill, VA, 2-Brothers: Charlie and wife Pauline Lester, Big Rock, VA, Willard and wife Linda Lester, Napoleon, OH

Also, survived by 9-Grandchildren, 9-Great-Grandchildren and 12-Nieces & Nephews.

Funeral Services for PALMER “BO” LESTER will be conducted Friday, February 19, 2010 at 12:00 Noon at the Buchanan Assembly of God, Big Rock, VA, with Ministers: Danny Hess, Montie Elswick and Don Mullins officiating with entombment to follow in Mountain Rest Mausoleum, Mountain Valley Memorial Park, Big Rock, VA.

Friends may call at the Buchanan Assembly of God, Big Rock, VA, Wednesday evening at 6:00 P.M. with services Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 P.M.

Active Pallbearers will be Sammy Runyons, Greg Lester, Jimmy Young, Daniel Young, Thomas Michael Lester and Palmer Hall.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Runyons, Daryl Runyons, Billy Beggs, Wade Endicott and Jerry Lester.
